In 2017, some of the country's finest high school jazz musicians will come together to form the first-ever UNC/Greeley Jazz Festival High School Honor Band. The Honor Band will perform on the main-stage at the UNC/Greeley Jazz Festival’s evening concert on April 22, 2016, opening up for NEA jazz master Dave Liebman, Greg Gisbert, and the world premiere of the Romeo & Juliet project. The honor band will also have an opportunity to record in UNC's state-of-the-art recording studio.
